In 1847, the founder Mr. Jean-Baptiste Ebrard established a business in Mexico, dealing in high-end fabrics. In 1936, a new Liverpool store opened in the center of Mexico City on November Avenue, featuring the first escalator in Mexico City. In 1965, Liverpool was listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange. Since then, the company has continued to expand, acquiring several stores and participating in shopping center development, and currently operates 113 department stores across 30 states in Mexico, offering a diverse range of products and services.
